So often we hear of the importance of developing literacy skills in K-2, but what happens in 3rd-5th? Morphology to the rescue! Morphological awareness is a powerful tool to improve phonics, spelling and other literacy skills. This session will address practical ways to enhance students’ literacy skills by providing them with tools easily used when they encounter an unfamiliar word.
